How to make a Lava Lamp

How to make a lava lamp

Materials

• Salt
• Oil
• Food coloring
• Clear jar
• Water

1. Fill the container with 2/3 of water. 
2. Pour slowly 1 inch of oil on top of the water. 
3. Put 2 drops of food colouring in. 
4. Sprinkle salt gently over the oil mixture

Playing Brass

Today in room 4. I got to play the cornet. I could blow it really loud.The cornet is a small instrument that is silver and curvy. It sounded like a elephant.  It was hard to blow.   

Bubble Experiment

On Friday in room 4 Miss H and I made a bubble experiment. First we put milk in a bowl. Then we added food colouring and oil. Then we blew the bubble mixture with a straw. Then we waited to see what would happen. After we waited the bubbles appeared and the colours swirled around the bowl. Finally we took photos of the bubbles for the Kaiata Art show. It was epic! `
